REMINDERS for the week of June 1

Mission Focus   Over $16,400 from chapel offerings, grants and special gifts has been given toward our missions this year—Soles4Souls, Alpha Omega Centers, and Open Door Ministries.  Thank you for your generous gifts and prayers.

A Big Thank You  to our anonymous donor who provided a pizza lunch for our 3-8 graders last Friday after Track & Field Day was postponed.  What a wonderful treat!

Last day of School   Due to scheduling conflicts, dismissal for Friday, June 4 will now be at 12 NOON.

  • Buses will run in the morning and at noon for students in Armstrong, Butler, Highlands, and Freeport.

  • Buses will run in the morning only for students in South Butler and Mars; they must be picked up (car riders) at noon.

Class Pictures  Coming home today are the class composite photos for those who ordered online via the Inter-State Studios website.  We also have a very limited number of extras—if you would like one, please call the school office at 724-352-2221.  The cost is $5, first come, first served.

Bring in your Pop Tabs!   St. Luke families can help the Ronald McDonald House Charities by collecting pull tabs from aluminum cans. The tabs are taken to Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh for recycling for cash. The money is then used to help keep families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need.   The Freehling Family–John, Laura, Josh, and Leah—graciously picks up and delivers our tabs every year to Ronald McDonald House.  Bring in your pop tabs by Friday!  And keep saving all year long!!

School Cleaning   It’s a big job and we are always very grateful for help from school families.  Cleaning time periods are scheduled for 2 ½ hours.  You may clean during one or more time periods to work the full 2 ½ hours required to earn a $60 credit toward  next year’s tuition.  Remember to sign in at the school office to log in your time.

Summer Camps at St. Luke   Several great camps are being offered this summer at St. Luke starting in July.  There is something for all kids from preschoolers through age 15.  Sign up now!  Register online at For more info or questions please contact Brenda Fett at 724-352-2221 or
