Lutheran Schools Week 2020 This is National Lutheran Schools Week—attached is the schedule! We are looking forward to a wonderful week of fun and celebration together!
Coin Banks Coming home today with all students are special coin banks. Save your change to help our four mission focuses this year—Disaster relief, the Lighthouse Foundation, Soles4Souls, and ServLife. Extras are available, if you would like one. Banks will be collected in March. Thank you for keeping these worthwhile missions in your thoughts and prayers.
7th & 8th Grade Fund Raiser The students are selling pepperoni rolls from the Handlebar Café in Saxonburg and accepting pledges for bowling to earn toward their trip in the spring to Washington, DC. See any 7th or 8th grader to order or call the school office.

Time for Two The spring session of Time for Two starts on Wednesday, March 4. This is a time of fun and interaction for two-year-olds and their parents. The cost is $50, and the program runs through May 6 each Wednesday morning between 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. Applications are available on our website, https://www.school.stlukecabot.org/time-for-two, in the school lobby or from Mrs. Winters.
Knoch Knights Food Pantry This local mission is out of the South Butler County School District. Through the efforts of the community food donations are given and qualifying children are able to go home each weekend with a backpack of food. Beginning now and continuing through February 22 we will be collecting the items listed below. Plastic tubs will be in the back of the church and in the school lobby. Your donation is very much appreciated.

Mac ‘n Cheese/Easy Mac
Ramen Noodle Cups
Ready-to-serve soup (no cream soups)
Individual Drinks: Sunny D, Kool-Aid Jammers, Juice Boxes
RMHC Pop Tabs Our students have been asked to collect aluminum can tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC uses the “pop tabs” to raise money through recycling. Attached is a flier with more information. The class which collects the most through the end of the year will be given a pizza party!
Talent Show Dress Rehearsal If you are a Talent Show participant, please attend the Dress Rehearsal on Tuesday, January 28 after school until 5:00 in the Gym. Mrs. Beckstead will be present to assist with singers and musicians. Please bring all props, music, costumes, etc. that you will need for your performance. Pick-up time will be at 5:00 PM. This rehearsal will take the place of Praise Band’s regular rehearsal time. If you are able to attend, please bring in a parent note. If you are unable to attend, please email Mrs. Hitchcock at and Mr. Andrews at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Talent Show Performance Family and friends are invited to enjoy this year’s Talent Show on Friday, January 31 at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM in the Activity Center.
