REMINDERS for the week of November 23
Thanksgiving Food Collection Thank you to everyone who contributed over 2100 food items to benefit the community food pantry at St. Luke! Several boxes were also taken to the Lighthouse. The winner is 8th grade, who brought in 32 items/student; they will receive a special treat soon! Second place is 6th grade with 27 items/student; third is 4th grade with 24 items/student. “Being kind to the poor is like lending to the Lord; he will reward you for what you have done.” Proverbs 19:17
Special Thank You! The food pantry ministry (and I'm sure the Lighthouse Foundation too) are so very grateful for the food that was donated. I personally was excited to see the effort by Mitch Andrews, the 8th graders and Don Venturini to box up and move all the food to the Wilhelm House without a hitch. Please forward this email to all the teachers and pass along to the students that we really appreciate their help in feeding our neighbors in our community. God has blessed us beyond what one could even imagine...from Dave Pasquini, St. Luke Food Pantry.

DISTANCE LEARNING In the event that circumstances/mandates change in our area and we are forced to move from in-school instruction to distance learning, K-8 students must have an internet-connected device at home. We have a limited number of devices (Chromebooks/iPads) at school which can be loaned out to those families who do not have access to a computer or other device at home. If your student does not have access to a device, please contact your teacher or the school office for more info.
School Messenger A message alert was sent to all families last Monday, November 16 regarding the Health and Safety policy. If you did not receive the alert via your chosen method---text, call, e-mail—please call the school office. We want to ensure that everyone is contacted in the event of an actual alert situation.
Operation Christmas Child Last Wednesday the students packed 150 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Thanks for all your contributions!
