Scrip
What Is Scrip?
Scrip Fundraising - How It Works
Scrip refers to gift certificates, or gift cards. You simply purchase gift cards and use them for what you normally buy - like groceries, restaurants, books, clothes etc. By using same-as-cash scrip certificates to make your normal purchases, you do not need to spend any extra money and YOU and St. Luke School earns a percentage from every purchase you make! There are hundreds of merchants nationwide through Great Lakes Scrip. Everyday places like, Giant Eagle, Eat-n-Park, South Pike Cinema, Wal-Mart, Target and so much more.
You simply purchase gift cards and use them for what you normally buy - like groceries, restaurants, books, clothes etc.
You can then use your profits for: registration in August, class fieldtrips, re-enrollment in February, May's tuition payment or donate it to the school. If there is money left in the account after August registration, it will revert to the SCRIP account. Checks for money you earn are written back for these school purposes only, never to the individual families.
